At Faith Christian Center, everything we do is rooted in the Word of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit. We believe in building strong, faith-filled lives through sound teaching, authentic discipleship, and Spirit-empowered living. Our desire is to see believers grow in their identity in Christ, walk in their God-given authority, and live lives that reflect His love, truth, and power. What we believe shapes how we serve, worship, and reach our community with the message of Jesus.
We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us
in our pursuit of living out faith in boldness and passion.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16-17; I Corinthians 2:13; II Peter 1:20-21; Hebrews 1:1). We Believe in the verbal inspiration and inerrancy of the Scriptures. We embrace the authority of both the Old and New Testaments as Holy Writ.
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, Holy Spirit. The Trinity is that which has been given by God and revealed to man to know and to experience of the totality of God. The Trinity is diversity in unity and unity in diversity. (Matthew 28:19; II Corinthians 13:14; John 5:7).
We Believe humankind was created in the image of God to know and enjoy Him, but willfully rejected, disobeyed and fell from the state of being in which he was created. The entire human race shares in man's lost and depraved nature and now experiences the effects and consequences of sin. We believe the creation and the fall of man (Romans 5:12-18) as recorded in the book of Genesis.
We Believe Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, became flesh by means of the incarnational virgin birth, lived a sinless life, retained his absolute deity, was crucified, buried and resurrected, and was at the same time very God and very man. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, conception by the Holy Spirit, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal return in power and glory. (Matthew 1:23; I Peter 2:21-25; Acts 2:22; I Corinthians 15:23; I Corinthians 15:4; Acts 2:33; I Thessalonians 4:16-18; Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:26-35; John 1:14; John 3:16; John 2:2). Jesus is the only way to salvation. (Acts 4:12). For the salvation of lost
and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. (Romans 5:12-21).
We Believe that atonement for sin was made by the sacrificial, vicarious and substitutionary death of Jesus Christ.
We Believe Sanctification is the process by which, according to the will of God, we are made partakers of His holiness; that it is a progressive work; that it is begun at regeneration; that it is carried on in the hearts of believers by the presence of the power of the Holy Spirit, the Comforter and Guide, Sanctification is the continual use of appointed means, especially the Word of God, self-examination, self-denial, watchfulness and prayer. (Philippians 2:12-13; I
Corinthians 1:30).
We Believe salvation is the gift of God by grace alone, and received by personal faith in the
Lord Jesus Christ; this faith is manifested in works pleasing to God.
Water Baptism
We believe in water baptism by immersion. (Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 28:19; Acts 22:12-16; Acts 16:15-16).
Baptism in the Holy Ghost
We believe in baptism in the Holy Ghost and in speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and the ministry of the gifts of Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:4; I Corinthians 12;1-11; I Corinthians 14.
We Believe that at the time of conversion all Christian believers are filled with the Spirit of
God, however the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a definite subsequent enduement of power in
order for the believer to flow in giftings and to minister supernaturally.
We believe in divine healing through the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross. (Isaiah 53:4-
5; I Peter 2:24; Matthew 8:17.
We believe the Holy Spirit is the Promise of the Father, the Comforter who indwells and places
every believer in the Body of Christ, provides spiritual gifts upon the church and beckons to the
world to come to Christ.
We believe in the Resurrection of both the saved and lost-the saved unto the resurrection of life, and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation. (II Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 20:11-15).
We believe the Church consists of all who put their faith in Jesus; It is the covenant relationship of the Church to advance His Kingdom, to fight the works of the enemy through Prayer, to live the good news of God's Love, to make disciples, to Baptize believers by immersion, to partake in Communion and Fellowship, and to teach the household of Faith to be salt and light to the world. We do not participate in this manner so that we will be saved, but because we have been saved. By grace through faith.
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (I Corinthians 12:13).
We Believe in the increasing Kingdom government of God, and the glorious return of Jesus Christ as the Blessed Hope of the Church. Heaven and Hell are real. There will be a resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to an everlasting death.
